Pedro Stoichita, born in 1983, lives and works as an illustrator and comic artist in Berlin. He studied philosophy, cultural studies and Romance studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU) and visual communication at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin. He also received a scholarship from the Graduate School of the Berlin University of the Arts.

In addition to contract work, he also creates his own books, print series, combinatorial machines and other apparatus. His most recent publications are La Fuite (2020), a leporello comic, and Le Trésor Mathématique de Polybius (2017), a combinatorial comic, both published by the French publisher éditions polystyrène.
